1-2-1 Guidelines

Sorry – applications for 1-2-1 sessions at WIC 2010 have now closed.

Agent 1-2-1 sessions are available only to ticket holders for WIC 2010. If you have not purchased a ticket you must do so before making your application. The number of sessions is limited and places will be assigned to the strongest applicants. Successful applicants will be assigned a 1-2-1 with the agent who most closely suits their professional aims.

1-2-1 sessions are available with:

Sarah Ellis, Apples and Snakes
James Wills, Watson Little
John Berlyne, Zeno Agency
Lorella Belli, Lorella Belli
Ollie Munson, BlakeFreidmann
Alan Mahar, Tindal Street Press
Jane Finigan, Lutyens & Rubinstein Literary Agency
Wayne Burrows, Staple Magazine

Writers should submit the following accompanied by a covering letter outlining your achievements and future aims as a writer. Writers may only apply for ONE area.

Fiction – first 3 chapters of a novel + 1 page synopsis OR up to 3 short stories (maximum 10,000 words)

Creative Non-fiction – first 3 chapters of non-fiction + 1 page synopsis (maximum 10,000 words)

Poetry – up to 8 poems (maximum 300 lines)

Spoken Word – up to 3 audio / video recordings (maximum 15 minutes runtime)

Unfortunately, it is not possible to submit scripts for this event.

Submissions and Formatting
All applications must be made via email. We do not accept postal applications. Your covering letter should be included in the body of the email. Fiction, creative non-fiction and poetry should be included as .DOC or .RTF attachments only. Spoken word submissions should be linked to only (do not send the actual audio / video files). Incorrectly formatted applications will be deleted without consideration. Please title your email: WIC 121 SUB: [your name]
